The CCRJS Board

RICHARD TARNOFF

PRESIDENT

Over ten years ago, after he had retired, Richard saw an invitation to attend a training workshop to learn restorative justice facilitation.

RJ had always made sense to Richard, but he didn’t know the work was mostly done by trained volunteers in the community. He took the course and has been involved ever since. Richard is passionate about helping individuals learn what options are available to them and helping communities play a greater role in the repair and healing when harm happens.

Harold Rosen

Secretary

Harold is a Community Interfaith Educator, networker, researcher and writer - working to  integrate diversity and build on common ground toward a more just and unified world.

He finds Restorative Justice to be a very healing and constructive response to harm.  Therefore, he supports Deanna, Richard, the CCRJS and people of good will in difficult community challenges.  The public good is served, he believes, by processes of mediation, conflict-management, caring communication and creative breakthroughs.
